Summary: Fourty patients affected by haemorrhoids were treated by anal divulsion combined with other gynecological procedures. Manual dilatation of anal sphincter produced in all the cases an almost complete resolution of the symtoms. This procedure was well tollerated by the patients and the stay in hospital was not delayed.
